Nike balances the release of new colorways and silhouettes with the return of classics each year. While 2022 has seen numerous debuts, the sportswear giant returns to its archives with the reintroduction of the Nike Air Pegasus 89.
The Air Pegasus 89, the fifth sneaker in one of Nike’s longest running model series in footwear, was last seen in an updated build in 2019. It is now back on the shelves in its original form.
The Nike Air Pegasus 89 returns in three colorways, including its original grey and red. Each pair has a vintage vibe and is made of a mixed material composition of suede and mesh. A grayscale iteration that favors red as an accent color and a triple black makeover that is suitable for year-round wear are also available.
The three Nike Air Pegasus 89 colorways are expected to release in the coming months via Nike and select retailers.
