Nike has made no secret of its interest in the Zoom Vomero 5 for 2023. After a brief hiatus following several collaborative A-COLD-WALL* releases, the modern sneaker has already been revealed in a slew of understated colorways for the new year.
The Zoom Vomero 5 looks to capitalize on the peaking demand for shoes that balance contemporary tasteful looks with elements that draw from the past, making it a fitting choice for an era in which brands such as New Balance thrive with their runners.
The Zoom Vomero 5 now comes in a “Photon Dust” colorway that has recently been seen on sneakers like the Air Jordan 4 SE Craft, and it features a more subdued color scheme. The chrome detailing on the Swooshes and toe overlays, on the other hand, adds some shine to the otherwise understated look.
The upper is made of leather and synthetics like mesh and has a “Photon Dust” finish, while the Zoom-backed sole unit has a “Sail” midsole and a black rubber outsole to complete the detailing.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Photon Dust” will be available in women’s sizing at Nike and select retailers for $175 USD at some point during the first quarter of next year.
