In an attempt to answer the automotive world’s question, Top Gear has drag raced the Porsche Taycan Turbo S against the Tesla Model S Performance ”Raven” to test which one is faster.

The newly released Porsche Taycan features a unique 800-volt battery system capable of producing 750 BHP, adding the 774 lb-ft of torque, the Taycan can hit 0-60 MPH in just 2.6 seconds. Tesla’s Model S was tested in its top-of-the-range Performance spec with the latest “Raven” powertrain, which grants 0-60 MPH in just 2.4 seconds, with the help of a 754 BHP battery pack that produces 687 lb-ft of torque.
The Taycan Turbo S weighs 129kg more than Tesla’s Model S Performance ”Raven, ” but with the power output differences, the competition is fair. In Top Gear’s drag race, the Tesla takes the lead. However, the faster-to-100 MPH Taycan shortly stole the lead and won the title. Porsche’s entry finished the ¼ mile run in just 10.69 seconds, whereas the Tesla Model S Performance “Raven” finished in 11.08 seconds.
