Ulysse Nardin’s Ocean Race Diver Chronograph: A Timepiece Saluting Adventure

As The Ocean Race marks its momentous 50th anniversary, Ulysse Nardin unveils the Ocean Race Diver Chronograph, a limited-edition masterpiece timed perfectly for the Newport In-Port Race. In addition to being the official timekeeper for the race, this exceptional watch pays homage to the daring spirits, shared love for the sea, and commitment to its preservation by both Ulysse Nardin and The Ocean Race.

Encased in a 44mm sandblasted and satin-finished black DLC titanium case, the chronograph features a unidirectional rotating bezel with a Carbonium® finish. What makes it even more remarkable is that the bezel incorporates upcycled fibers from airplane fuselage offcuts, showcasing a commitment to reducing environmental impact.

Sporting an electric blue, white, and black color scheme, the timepiece exudes a cool and sporty vibe. The sandblasted black dial proudly displays rhodium-plated indices and hands filled with Super-LumiNova, complemented by sub-counters at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. Its open caseback reveals the in-house UN-150 self-winding chronograph calibre, offering a water resistance of 300 meters. Adding a touch of exclusivity, the sapphire caseback and the ceramic component of the rubber strap both bear the “50” logo imprint.
