UNION & Jordan Brand Drop Air Jordan 1 KO Low

The low-top Air Jordan 1 KO was first reported in late October, but we’re finally getting our first official look at it before the holidays courtesy to a combined leak from zsneakerheadz and beechkicks_. The actual shoe isn’t much that different from the early mock-up, except from some slightly changed colorblocking and tooling.

It has an airy “White/Sail/University Gold/Neutral Grey” color palette, a complete canvas upper, and a hybrid construction that draws inspiration from both the KO and the OG Air Jordan 1 Low, with “aged” midsoles, UNION tags that hang from the Swooshes, exposed foam tongues, and hefty heel badges. The replaceable swooshes, which come in grey or sky blue, provide the most fascinating detail. Each pair is also wrapped in a handmade box with a heavy gold medallion image on the lid.

Following the release of on-foot photographs, official images of the UNION x Air Jordan 1 KO Low have emerged, displaying recurring “UN/LA” text in black beneath the Swooshes’ Velcro foundation.

The sneakers will also be wrapped in a distinctive co-branded box with an enormous gold chain over the top. A January 27 release date is still predicted, but keep tuned for official launch information from Nike and UNION, and read the complete story below.
