Lionsgate released the official trailer for Chad Stahelski’s John Wick: Chapter 4 on Thursday, starring Keanu Reeves as the famous Babayaga.
Wick is pitted against Bill Skarsgard‘s Marquis de Gramont in a fight for his freedom in the new video. Wick enters the fight in full force, armed with an all-new suit and weaponry, creating a signature spectacle of rewind-worthy action scenes. In the midst of the chaos, the trailer shows Wick riding a horse through the desert and fighting Donnie Yen’s character with guns and swords.
The film also stars Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Hiroyuki Sanada, Scott Adkins, and Clancy Brown in addition to Reeves, Skarsgrd, and Yen. Ian McShane will reprise his role as Winston, the manager of the Continental Hotel.
Reeves has been a part of the John Wick franchise since 2014, under the direction of Stahelski. He was most recently seen as the action hero in 2019’s John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum.
In an August interview with Collider, Stahelski revealed that the fourth John Wick film will be the longest in the franchise’s history. Whereas Chapter 3 clocked in at two hours and twelve minutes, Chapter 4 is expected to be slightly longer than the 131-minute mark, though not by much.
On March 24, 2023, John Wick: Chapter 4 will be released in theaters.
