Watch the First 8 Minutes of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4

Netflix has released the first eight minutes of season four in a new sneak peek clip, one week before the highly anticipated return of Stranger Things.

Dr. Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine) is seen in the trailer attempting to conduct routine testing on another superhuman child in the same facility where Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) was detained. The start of the season promises to keep you on the edge of your seat with sounding alarms, haunting screams, and signature, chilling nose bleeds.

The trailer also revealed that the season will be split into two parts: the first volume, which will be released on May 27, will contain seven of the nine total episodes, and the second volume, which will be released on July 1, will contain the remaining two.

This season’s episodes are noticeably longer than previous installments, with the majority clocking in at 75 minutes. According to Netflix’s fan website Tudum, Episode 7 will be 98 minutes long, Episode 8 will be 85 minutes long, and Episode 9 will be two and a half hours long.

Brown, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, and Brett Gelman will all reprise their roles in Season 4.

In addition, the new season will introduce several new characters, including Victor Creel (Robert Englund), Peter Ballard (Jamie Campbell Bower), Argyle (Eduardo Franco), Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn), and others.
