Woolrich, dubbed “The Original Outdoor Clothing Company,” has been producing flannel shirts for over 190 years.
In honor of its centuries-long history, the outerwear label has tapped its archives of distinguished American design codes for a “Made in the USA” capsule of flannels. The brand’s tried-and-true staples are available in a slew of colorways with updated, refined details for Fall/Winter 2022.
The collection, which honors Woolrich’s legacy in purposeful workwear, reinvents archetypal fabrics and patterns with modern flair — in several iterations, the brand swaps traditional textiles for brushed wool and blended fabric variations, while remaining true to its age-old silhouettes.
Woolrich’s signature Timber Overshirt is updated with a zip-front closure and workwear details like welt pockets, an upper patch pocket, and storied buttoned cuffs. The Trout Run Plaid Flannel can now be worn as a shirt or an overshirt, and it comes in six new colorways, including red and blue check, refined black check, and bright orange check.
Woolrich’s “Made in the USA” Flannels collection is now available in the retailer’s stores and online. The prices range from $160 to $260 USD.
