‘High on Life’ Unveils 25-Minute Gameplay Trailer

Squanch Studios has released an in-depth 25-minute clip featuring some of the title’s first missions, only days after offering Rick and Morty fans a look at the first boss fight in series creator Justin Roiland‘s upcoming game High on Life. The new teaser also comes after the developer stated that the game’s planned October release date has been pushed out to December.

High on Life places players in a strange and colourful sci-fi universe where you must protect other humans from being used by alien cartels to make drugs. In classic Rick and Morty fashion, you will be carrying a collection of talking firearms that regularly spew quite colorful words as you battle your opponents.

“Fresh out of high school with no job and no ambition, you’ve really got nothing going for you until an alien cartel that wants to get high off humanity invades Earth,” reads the game’s description. “Now, you and a team of charismatic talking guns must answer the hero’s call and become the deadliest intergalactic bounty hunter the cosmos has ever seen.”

High on Life will arrive on December 13 as an Xbox and PC exclusive.
