Louis Vuitton Drops Nautical-Themed Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 Collection

Last year, Pharrell Williams showcased his Louis Vuitton Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection in Hong Kong, marking his second presentation as the creative director for the iconic French fashion house. The city’s vibrant natural landscape and iconic harborside skyline played a significant role in framing the collection’s narrative.

With the first release of the Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection approaching, Louis Vuitton has rolled out its official campaign, shot against the backdrop of Hong Kong‘s dynamic setting. The campaign heavily features a nautical theme, which is a central element of the collection.

Designs draw inspiration from maritime aesthetics and incorporate distinct Hong Kong motifs, emphasizing the idea of the “dandy mariner.” Key pieces include contemporary sailor hats and uniforms that echo seafaring traditions, complete with the distinctive sailor “tar flap” worn over the shoulders, adapted into suits, blazers, and varsity-style jackets.

The sailing influence is unmistakable throughout the collection, from pinstriped designs to relaxed tailoring. Pleated trousers and collared jackets are paired with fresh takes on Louis Vuitton staples, such as the Keepall bag, all rendered in oceanic hues that reinforce the brand’s commitment to the “Art of Travel.”

Officially launching worldwide on April 25, the first drop of the Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection first debuted in Hong Kong, introducing these innovative designs to the global stage.
