Oceanco Releases the 115-Meter Long Tuhura Monsteryacht

Oceanco has released its new super yacht, dubbed Tuhura. The monster, a birth resulting in collaboration between Lobanov design studio, BMT Nigel Gee and Achille Salvagni. The exterior is modelled after canoes that were used by Polynesians. Igor Lobanov, described the thinking behind the boat in a statement. “Our Tuhura is a simple idea. The thought was to take a natural shape similar to those seen in the earliest canoe-type craft and augment it multifold to a larger scale, using modern technology.”

The interior uses teak, gunmetal and bronze throughout while the engine is a hybrid Azipod CRP propulsion system. Which, enables the vessel to move at speeds of up to 18 knots, an impressive speed for the 377-foot yacht. Tuhura is designed for someone who has a true pioneering spirit and who desires to break the moulds of convention.
