Olivia Kim x Nike Collection Draws From ’90s New York Street Fashion

Designed for everyone, the collection title “No Cover” also refers to the cover charge often associated with nightlife entry, in this case, specifically in New York. The capsule features both Nike and Jordan sneaker silhouettes, pulling from Kim’s personal style, which is largely defined by rave and hip-hop in ’90s New York.

Kim has reimagined Nike and Jordan icons from that era, with the Air Force 1, Air Mowabb, Air Footscape, Air Max 98, and Air Jordan 4. While the apparel references Olivia’s teenage wardrobe, filled with vibrant colors such as pink, volt, blue, orange, and red.

“The collection, in a sense, very much matches the personalities of these people who inspire me,” says Kim. “It’s amazing to have Megan Rapinoe, John Waters and Binx Walton as faces of the campaign.”

Olivia Kim’s “No Cover” Nike collection will arrive at Nordstrom x Nike boutiques, online, and through SNKRS on October 31, and later at select retailers on November 8.
