Between CrasH Talk and BLUE LIPS, Q mused about the rap game’s pace no longer being a sprint for him. While CrasH Talk hinted at this shift, BLUE LIPS loudly declares Q’s comfortable reign over his artistic domain. This shift in mindset allows him to dabble freely in musical exploration, resulting in an album that’s fresh, introspective, and smoothly cohesive – possibly Q’s best work to date.
