Drake commissioned Alex Moss New York to create an extravagant new ring after receiving his “Lucky Number 11 Ring” from close friend and Strawberry Jam founder, Kai Bent-Lee.
The startling accessory, dubbed “The Godfather Ring,” was commissioned by the Canadian artist and designed by jeweler Alex Moss.
The ring’s name derives from its abnormally huge size, which is caused by the massive stones used in its construction. The Godfather Ring is entirely crafted of 18k white gold and is set with VVS natural oval diamonds throughout, with a bigger stone in the center.
Alex Moss writes that Drake directly commissioned him to create the ring, which was completed in a very short amount of time thanks to the expert craftsmen at Alex Moss New York. Aside from the ring, Drake had Alex Moss New York design a necklace and bracelet set to match his diamond stud earrings for a completely iced-out appearance.
