Carhartt WIP FW22 Merges Baroque, Scandinavian, and Other Influences

Carhartt WIP is renowned for its refined interpretation of the brand’s iconic work wear pieces, which combine elegant fabrics and tough designs. With the release of its most recent collection, the brand offers a revitalized, multifaceted perspective on its essential garments for Fall/Winter 2022.

The new collection, which amplifies gritty clothing, draws inspiration from tapestries with Baroque influences, Scandinavian minimalism, and the 90s Youth Crew subculture in New York City.

The collection includes a variety of items, including the brand’s signature canvas jackets, puffer jackets, relaxed denim, cargo pants, flannels, and more, with an emphasis on function and wearability. The majority of the collection is still cast in Dearborn Canvas, but some pieces have had their beauty enhanced by laser aging treatments.

Duck jackets and quilted jackets are examples of outerwear items that are dyed in rust, plum, beige, brown, ice blue, and black tones. But the canvas jacket decorated with tapestry patterns in the style of the Baroque era stands out among the outerwear items. Fisherman-style sweaters, cotton zip-up hoodies, varsity jackets, chino pants, an apron, and scarves are also included in the collection.

Carhartt WIP’s FW22 collection is available now online.
