Check Out 16Arlington SS23 Collection “Forget Me Not”

16Arlington is a perfect example of cool-girl flair. Since its beginning in 2017, the British label formed by Marco Capaldo and Federica Cavenati has been a cult favorite for its feathered frocks and embroidered outfits that exude eroticism.

Its Fall/Winter 2022 collection was emotionally charged, as Capaldo paid tribute to his late co-founder and partner, who died just a few months previously. 16Arlington debuted its sophomore bridal collection in May, reimagining the conventional bride through bold designs wrapped with provocative embellishments.

16Arlington has released its SS23 collection. The “Forget Me Not” collection was created with a sense of modern appeal in mind, presenting elegant apparel for the unforgettable woman.

Co-founder Marco Capaldo continues to honor his late companion by drawing inspiration from dusty pink and lilac-blue wildflowers, which represent “true and eternal love, devotion, and remembrance.” Thumping dance music paved the way for the gorgeous collection to follow.

The traditional feathered costumes of Arlington were replaced with strong-shouldered satin tailored coats and blazers despatched in subtle pink, cream, and black tones. For an ultra-sleek style, these were combined with similar tops with jumbo-sized lapels. Models glistened in the spotlights as they strolled down the corridors of London’s Army Reserve Centre.

The collection was covered in rhinestones, with strapless gowns and small dresses adorned in rhinestones, as well as uber-short and slitted low-rise skirts from the ’00s. Models were decked up in opulent fur jackets, and snakeskin designs appeared to be popular throughout. Sumptuous snakeskin morphed from look to look, embellishing high-neck maxi gowns, sculpted off-the-shoulder dresses, and head-to-toe tailored ensembles.

In terms of accessories, clutches resembled soft fuzzy and satin pillows, while boxy handbags matched every sequence. Models strutted around in wooden-constructed strappy heels, while others wore high ballet flats.

16Arlington fulfilled our post-pandemic imaginations, which were engulfed by glittering lights and restless activity.
