Freddie Gibbs Talks Wanting To Collaborate With Tyler, the Creator

Who wouldn’t love to collaborate with Tyler, the Creator? In a recent interview with RapCaviar, Freddie Gibbs discussed reuniting with Tyler, the Creator for a full-length record. Without hesitation, Gibbs stated that he would be interested in working with the Call Me If You Get Lost artist.

Gibbs was asked about a future collaboration between the two around the 58:35 mark in the interview. Gibbs’ response was,

“Cha-ching, gimme my money! We could do it, Tyler!

I’m gonna call his mama and make it happen…I always loved Tyler, that’s like a little brother to me…I love Tyler, man, he’s such a f**king weirdo. Like, how can you not love a guy like that?”

He continued to praise Mr. Golf Wang, saying, “Like I said, he’s somebody—like he’s a little brother to me, but I also look up to him.” When I see what he does, I think to myself, ‘What the f**k?’ It’s incredible. He’s not afraid of anything.”

Gibbs and Tyler worked together on Gibbs and The Alchemist’s Alfredo in 2020. Gibbs’ RapCaviar interview comes just over a month after he released $oul $old $eparately, his fifth studio album featuring Pusha-T, Anderson.Paak, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Offset, and Jadakiss.
