From the Archives to the Wrist: The Zenith DEFY A3691 Revival

Introducing the DEFY Revival A3691, a modern take on an iconic timepiece from Zenith‘s archives. The A3691, originally released in 1971, has been faithfully remade and given a new twist with its vibrant red dial in a vignette effect. This marks the first time a watch in the DEFY collection has been given such a bold and colorful dial.

The DEFY Revival A3691 has been reproduced using Zenith’s historical production plans, ensuring that it has the accurate details of the original A3691. However, it also sets itself apart as a modern iteration with updates such as the faceted octagonal case with a 14-sided bezel, the red vignetting dial with darkened edges, and the iconic Gay Fréres “ladder” bracelet. Additionally, the watch features an updated sapphire crystal, caseback, type of luminescent pigments used, and the newly configured Elite 670 automatic movement.
