A Gucci and Xbox collaboration appears to be a spur of the moment collaboration, but it’s genuine and it’s here. Why not a Gucci Xbox? I mean, the Gucci Triple S exists, so why not a Gucci Xbox?
The design house and gaming behemoth first hinted at a collaboration on November 7 with a quick but powerful Twitter interaction.
The cryptic tweets make sense now. Gucci will offer a monogrammed Xbox case branded with “GOOD GAME” in neon green typeface, as revealed in a set of official pictures.
The Xbox Series X is also modified with the Gucci monogram, resulting in a sumptuous version of the game console. As part of the agreement, a limited-edition co-branded controller will be sold.
The collection will be available on November 17 on Gucci’s website as well as select retail locations, including Gucci’s Circolo pop-ups.
With a price tag of $10,000, this is the most opulent Xbox ever. You do, however, get a Gucci trunk, so you’re not simply getting a current-gen console.
