H Moser & Cie Unveils Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon Aqua Blue

With its new Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon Aqua Blue, H Moser & Cie demonstrates the watchmaking behind two of the most kinetic complications.

There is always something to catch the eye with the constantly rotating one-minute flying tourbillon and the on-demand chiming action of the repeater’s hammers against gongs on the dial.

The minute repeater’s two circular gongs wrap in opposite directions around the inside of the case, framing an aqua blue enamel dial fired 12 times on top of a hammered dial blank, adding texture and catching the light. The 40mm watch also features the all-new HMC 904 hand wound movement, which strikes the hours, quarters, and minutes.

Moser tweaked the case’s shape to improve the “volume, resonance, and harmony” of the repeater’s chimes, enlarging the case’s internal volume and amplifying the sound.
