Jacob & Co. is honoring the man behind some of the most famous automobiles ever produced by its automotive partner Bugatti.
The 46mm Jacob & Co Jean Bugatti, described as the brand’s “most challenging watchmaking project yet,” contains a high frequency, double retrograde chronograph, peripheral hands, and a pair of twin 60-second flying tourbillons, as well as a grille inspired by a 1930s Bugatti roadster.
Jean Bugatti succeeded his father, Ettore, as Bugatti founder, and inherited his family’s creative and artistic flare, designing the Type 50 series, the Type 41 Royale, and the iconic Type 57SC Atlantic.
The chronograph is covered by two blued, centrally positioned hands, with the shorter representing single seconds and the longer indicating tens of seconds, both against retrograde scales. The twin retrograde scale’s 60-second limit is increased by a jumping digital 30-minute sapphire crystal counter situated between the tourbillons.

The Jean Bugatti is offered from Jacob & Co. in either 18K white gold with a cream dial or 18K rose gold with a blue dial, with both variants limited to 57 pieces and priced at $250,000 USD.
