Metro Boomin Finally Releases Sophomore Album “Heroes & Villains”

Metro Boomin‘s sophomore album, Heroes & Villains, has finally been released after a long wait. Following an impressive rollout, the St. Louis producer delivered his latest body of work in its entirety this morning.

Metro reunites with his frequent collaborators while also enlisting new ones for the 15-song effort. The luscious intro track, “On Time,” by John Legend, A$AP Rocky, and Morgan Freeman sets the tone before Super Future appears alongside Chris Brown for the second track, “Superhero (Heroes & Villains).”

Future appears on several tracks, including two collaborations with Don Toliver. 21 Savage and Travis Scott make appearances as well, and even collaborate on “Niagara Falls (Foot Or 2).”

Metro Boomin recruits Young Thug, Gunna, Mustafa, The Weeknd, Gunna, A$AP Rocky, and Mustafa in addition to the aforementioned collaborators. The late Takeoff also makes his first posthumous appearance alongside Rocky on “Feel The Fiyaaaaaa”

The latest project from the “Tuesday” producer came after an impressive rollout. Metro recently released a short film to accompany the project, which stars Lakeith Stanfield, Morgan Freeman, Young Thug, and Gunna. Then he collaborated with Spotify to place his hologram in Miami and Los Angeles, where he was creating beats live.
