NO JOKE — PALACE x CALVIN KLEIN, ON ITS WAY

So yeah, it’s true. A Calvin Klein x Palace collaboration is in the works, as the two brands have confirmed the linkup is indeed a thing.

Both brands released videos on April 1 featuring Joan Collins, a glam-fied English actress, remarking on a gentleman’s denim costume, stating she liked it but “wouldn’t wear it [herself].”

A flash of a movie clapperboard appears just before the visual begins, with a scrawled “CK x Palace” in the place for the film’s production name.

After all, it was April Fools’ Day. After the Palace x Supreme prank, one would assume a Calvin Klein x Palace collab is a joke, right? Not at all.

On April 2, Palace and Calvin Klein released the first look at their co-branded Tri-Ferg logo, which incorporated both brands’ names in Palace’s distinctive typeface.

Calvin Klein even changed its Instagram profile photo to reflect the collaboration. Similarly, Palace’s head of PR and marketing released a photo of Calvin Klein’s Soho NYC billboard ad, which had been altered to include the collaboration’s co-branded triangular insignia.

There have been rumors that a Calvin Klein x Palace fragrance will be released alongside the upcoming Calvin Klein x Palace line.

In the meantime, the next preview of the Calvin Klein x Palace collab is expected to drop soon, followed by its launch on April 8 via Calvin Klein’s website.
