The Fall/Winter 2022 campaign for Prada Men is a tribute to the art of storytelling. Hollywood is fueled by stories — gripping tales derived from lengthy manuscripts that are exhibited on screen.
Behind the scenes, there are many storytellers, but for this campaign, the brand wanted to focus on the people that bring these stories to life.
David Sims caught some of the modern individuals who bring fiction to life in Prada Stories. Intimate portraits of Jeff Goldblum, Damson Idris, and Rami Malek demonstrate the subtle interaction between these performers’ roles as professional storytellers and multifaceted human beings.
A series of still-life photos are shown alongside the portraits. These photographs depict parts of the performers that are not usually visible through their characters, such as objects that have value for them. Audiences will be able to see the greater picture behind each individual, as well as the details that the camera misses.
A collection of still and animated photographs honors Goldblum, Idris, and Malek’s identities, delving into not only their art but also the traits that motivate their work.
