Reese Cooper, a designer based in Los Angeles, has released a teaser for his first collaboration with Levi’s.
Cooper’s collaboration with American denim specialists Levi’s is a natural fit, given his eponymous brand’s core inspiration of vintage Americana fused with the great outdoors.
Last summer, we first saw the striking green co-branded jacrons and “RCI” tags, and now we get a closer look at the riveted denim. The jeans are the same color as the fabric tags, which are a monochromatic forest green that represents the label’s commitment to environmental protection.
The second item is a two-tone denim blue piece with regionally specific wash patterns. Cooper mocks the lyrics from Frank Ocean’s song Nikes —“I got two versions, I got two versions, I got two versions.”
