Rick Owens has teamed up with sustainable sneaker brand Veja, for a new sneaker design, made from natural materials.

The sneaker is made of 45% bio-based materials like banana oil, sugarcane, rice husk, and natural rubber. Furthermore, the sneaker features an L-FOAM cushion made out of 50% Brazilian natural rubber and a 3D-knit which is made from recycled plastic bottles. Owens’ detail can be seen in the bicolor tone-on-tone “V” on the side of the shoe.
