The North Face and KAWS have teamed together once more for another collaboration. With his disruptive aesthetic style, the acclaimed American artist provides his latest re imagination of useful items and accessories centered on celebrated trends.
The second collaboration between KAWS and The North Face pushes the boundaries of what technical and iconic styles may be. In new tonal color expressions and texture variations on the TNF’s Expedition system, KAWS’ abstract designs continue to experiment with perception and visibility.
The Expedition System, first introduced in 1990, is a technologically advanced integrated garment system designed for expedition from the Himalayas to Antarctica. The Nuptse, Denali, Mountain Jacket, and Himalayan Parka featured in the partnership have become synonymous with exploring the world’s summits thanks to unrelenting testing by some of the world’s most talented athletes.
A collection of men’s and women’s styles, including the ’95 Denali Jacket and ’94 Himalayan Parka, lead the second collaboration between KAWS and The North Face. Luggage, soft accessories, and footwear like the ThermoBall Traction V Mule are also available.
The current The North Face XX KAWS collection, priced between $55 and $550 USD, will be available beginning October 25 online, at certain TNF sites, and at select retailers.
