The Conjuring universe’s creator, James Wan, who released The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, the franchise’s third film last year, has announced that another sequel is in the works.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, New Line Cinema is now planning the development of The Conjuring 4, which will be written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who also penned the screenplays for the first two films.
The film will be co-produced by James Wan and Peter Safran. In addition, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will reprise their roles as demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Details on which case The Conjuring 4 will draw from have yet to be disclosed. Stay tuned as more information unfolds.
