UNIMATIC, an Italian watch company, is expanding its Swiss Series, which debuted in January, with two new dive watches.
The U1S-MP and U1S-MPN models are two new limited editions based on Sellita’s SW200-1 automatic movement and based on the brand’s U1-S series small casing.
Both watches are water resistant to 300m/1000ft and have a 60-minute unidirectional rotating time bezel with discreet engraved marks, while the hands, hour markers, logo, and date are all highlighted in white against a black dial for maximum legibility using Super-LumiNova C1.
The UNIMATIC U1S-MP has a brushed stainless steel 40mm case, whereas the U1S-MPN has a black DLC coating. The case is based on the UNIMATIC Modello Uno, complete with drilled lugs, but is 10% smaller. Both watches come with a black two-piece TPU strap and a black NATO fabric strap.
UNIMATIC is making 500 pieces of the U1S-MP and 400 pieces of the U1S-MPN, with each watch individually numbered on its caseback and available now through UNIMATIC for €865 and €965 (roughly $955 USD and $1,065 USD).
