It’s Only Me, Lil Baby‘s third studio album, will be released tomorrow, October 14. The Atlanta artist wants to remind listeners that he can drop hard-hitting rhymes on the fly ahead of the release.
The artist returned to Hot 97 for the third time to take on Funkmaster Flex‘s freestyle challenge. While he kept it brief (about 2-minutes), he delivered bars at a breakneck pace.
It’s Only Me follows Lil Baby’s 2020 release, My Turn, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, becoming the artist’s first No. 1 album and one of the year’s highest-charting efforts.
Over the last two months, the artist has been teasing the 23-track It is Only Me album. He released the album’s lead track “Detox” along with an official music video in early September. He is also shown fans the cover art, which depicts him at various phases of his life on Mount Rushmore.
It’s Only Me is out for streaming tomorrow, October 14.
