XGIMI, a Chinese entertainment technology business, has emerged as a game-changing provider in the smart home theater projectors industry since its start in 2013.
The Magic Lamp, the brand’s latest product, demonstrates the brand’s position: it’s a “lifestyle triple-threat” capable of changing any space into a media room, with an HD projector and a multi-sound speaker neatly packed into a circular ceiling lamp.
The design prioritizes the viewer’s experience and interior beauty. Ceiling projectors work well since wires may be hidden and users can avoid blocking the image while moving. However, while practical, ceiling projects may often appear bulky when not in use — which is why XGIMI’s Magic Light’s ceiling-light structure is excellent.
The projector, which is housed within the elegant light fixture, has 32-degree non-destructive axis shifting, allowing users to move the image up or down within one meter. It’s worth noting that the Magic Lamp has a maximum resolution of 1080p and a brightness of 900 ANSI lumens, as opposed to competitors’ 4K resolution and 1200+ ANSI lumens.
The device does, however, contain a Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby and DTS audio capabilities.
The XGIMI Magic Lamp will be available in China in 2023 for $1,170 USD, with international availability to follow.
