Samuel Ross made a wise and creative choice for A-COLD-WALL* by deciding to perform in Paris for the Spring/Summer 2023 show season. This was the brand’s first collection to be shown in the city of fashion, and it showcased tech-cool, elevated performance wear in addition to a special partnership with Timberland.
Instead of a traditional runway show, ACWParis *’s debut featured an installation space where clothes were hung in the air so that viewers could get a close-up look at the collection. In the form of sleeveless vests, car coats, puffer jackets, and painted denim, merino knits, loopback jerseys, treated cotton, and stained fabrics were displayed.
The collection was dominated by muted hues like cool blue, yellow, grey, white, tan, and black, with footwear silhouettes following suit in a related shade as the brand’s collaboration with Dr. Marten’s returned for a fifth iteration.
A navy blue Sebago-style loafer with grommeted eyelets and matching laces, side logo placement, and a contrasting light grey outsole are all part of the ACW* x Timberland collaboration. A tan padded vest and a tan, treated cotton parka (with back logo placement), on the ready-to-wear side, set the tone for the collection items that will be released soon.
