Aesop has released its yearly gift kit selection, which includes five different selections based on the topic “Anatomy of Generosity.” Each kit is inspired by a different persona, all of which glorify altruism and are intended to inspire acts of kindness.
Furthermore, each identity corresponds to a charity chosen by Aesop. In addition to the seasonal gift kits, the Australian company will donate $100,000 AUD to the nominated charity via its Aesop foundation, independent of gift kit sales.
The first gift kit is the “Advocate,” which includes items for the hands and body and is associated with the U.S.-based human rights organization Voice of Witness, which is known for conveying underrepresented experiences of those affected by social injustice. The “Listener” is the name of a second gift box, which includes a trio of Geranium Leaf body care products. This kit is inspired by Pan Intercultural Arts, a London-based organization that uses the arts to empower immigrants and minorities.
The “Mentor,” a Parsley Seed skin care trio that raises awareness for Create UK, is followed by the “Forager” (a citrus-infused body care package that focuses on Photographers Without Borders) and the “Protector” for the home or office. This kit corresponds to the Karrkad Kandji Trust in Australia, which brings together Indigenous ranger groups to address the country’s urgent environmental issues.
The Listener
