Audemars Piguet Opens Its First Luxury Hotel in Switzerland

Audemars Piguet has opened its first luxury hotel, the Hôtel des Horlogers, in the Swiss village of Le Brassus. AP reimagines the space with the collaboration of Bjarke Ingels Groupe (BIG) and Swiss design firm, CCHE. .

The Hôtel des Horlogers, with its zigzagging external design and levels of long ramps, was created to blend in with the smooth topography of the Vallée de Joux, recognized as the cradle of Swiss horology and home to four ski resorts.

Interiors were developed with sustainability in mind and inspired by the hotel’s natural surroundings, with every room integrating warm, welcoming decor and promising magnificent views of the Risoud forest.

The hotel’s new additions include two new restaurants and a bar helmed by three-Michelin-starred French chef Emmanuel Renaut. Interiors were developed in collaboration with French studio AUM Pierre Minassian and took four years to complete.

The 50-room hideaway is located near AP’s main headquarters, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture, and the Musee Atelier Audemars Piguet, allowing guests to conveniently tour the legacy watchmakers while staying through different selected packages.
