“I’ve loved the brand since its inception and have always been in awe of Virgil Abloh’s work,” said Ali in a statement. The kit is a blend of Off-White™’s signature style with elements that nod to Ali’s Somali identity, including the Panthera motif and the blue satin shorts featuring the OFF emblem.

The design is inspired by Ali’s inner identity and her nickname “Chingona,” which she acquired while training in Los Angeles. The kit features a yellow and blue satin robe with yarn and crystal embroideries on the chest, sleeves, and back. The blue satin shorts bear the OFF emblem and the seamless jumpsuit features the same logo work on the front chest. The technical compression socks and gloves, made by EVERLAST, round out the kit.

Ali is excited to wear the custom kit, which she says represents her inner strength and agility. “The Panthera is an animal that has become synonymous with me,” she said. “It’s painted across the back of my boxing robe and can also be seen on my country’s coat of arms.” With the support of her coach, legendary Manny Robles, and her custom Off-White™ kit, Ramla Ali is ready to make history on February 4th.
