Brain Dead and Oakley Factory Team has collaborated on a new footwear focusing on the past while also setting the tone for future fashion trends — and now the duo is back with the Chop Saw in “Brown/Mint/Black.”
Following in the footsteps of previous sell-out releases, the new release is expected to be no different. In fact, because the Chop Saw silhouette is more practical with its lace-up closure, it may sell out even faster given the current season.
With seasonal themes in mind, Brain Dead appears to have taken a wintery approach to its next design. On the eyelet placket and heel, brown suede is combined with black synthetic weather-proofing, while mint open-pore mesh covers the vamp, mid-panel, tongue, and collar surround.
The red Oakley-branded webbing heel tab, metal Oakley logo on the mids, and multi-piece sole unit complete the retro-futuristic sneaker.
The Brain Dead x Oakley Factory Team Chop Saw in “Brown/Mint/Black” will be available at 10 a.m. on December 13th. PST/2 p.m. EDT/6 p.m. GMT is available in Brain Dead stores and online.
Furthermore, the BD Flesh Pack and Chop Saw, as well as the Mainline Flesh Pack and Chop Saw, will be available at a Shanghai pop-up store from December 10 to December 18 and online — more information can be found here.
