Check The New Adimatic Collaboration by Jamal Smith and adidas Skateboarding

The Three Stripes division has previously teamed up with Jason Dill and Kader Sylla for sneaker collaborations, and now it’s adding pro-rider Jamal Smith to the mix. The legendary creator of the ‘Tornado Spin’ move (check out the YouTube video) lends his creative vision to the Adimatic, a classic 90s model.

For this collaboration, Smith uses a darker color palette. Under his direction, he uses black suede for the side walls, tongues, and toe boxes of the uppers, as well as the mudguards, which are also tonal.

The thicker Three Stripe branding on the sides contrasts with the bright orange suede skins on the tongues, which are adorned with an adidas banner. The midsole units feature intricate zig-zag details, and the bottoms are finished with a gum finish.

“I’m insanely grateful to be a part of the Three Stripes family. I never thought I’d get the opportunity to work with adidas,” says Jamal Smith. “The Adimatic launch makes me feel a mixture of emotions—I’m extremely appreciative and dumbfounded. It means the world to me, for real. I already had the colorway and idea in my head for years. Definitely going to be skating this model for a minute and I hope the rest of the world enjoys it, too.”

Expect the sneaker to drop on May 14th for $100 USD.
