Denim Tears joins together with Stüssy and Our Legacy for a capsule collection, which will be available in three sizes. The cooperation pushes forward what all three brands have in common – the capacity to push the boundaries and parameters of style – by combining the roots of each of these design houses and what each of them stand for in the world of streetwear.
Tremaine Emory of Denim Tears, known for his ability to paradoxically interrupt the course of contemporary fashion and bring to center stage his idea of “Afro-Americana,” chose iconic collaborators who continue to push the idea of counter-culture when assembling his co-contributors for the collection.
The capsule includes two Type 2 Trucker Jackets and Denim Tears 501’s in black and white. Each garment is embellished with motifs inspired by the brand’s hometown and talisman crests.
The co-branded patches on the pieces, as well as the trademark Stüssy lettering, are visible. Denim Tears x Stüssy x Our Legacy pieces will be available globally beginning September 9 at select retailers, certain Dover Street Market locations, and online at Our Legacy, Denim Tears, and Stüssy.
