In the latest Beats By Dre commercial, Diddy debuts an unreleased collaborative track with The Weeknd. The commercial follows Kayvon Thibodeaux, a defensive end for the University of Oregon, through a typical training day.
Shawnta Loice, his mother, narrates the 60-second commercial, which is set to an untitled and unreleased Diddy track. The song was released after the rapper announced in July that he would be releasing a new album called Off the Grid Vol. 1 in the fall.
Off the Grid Vol. 1 was supposed to be released in September 2021, but it has yet to arrive. Diddy’s fifth studio album would have been released this year, but it is currently unknown if it will be released this year or in the near future.
The Weeknd, on the other hand, has been busy with a series of collaborations this year, including his most recent Kaytranada remixes of Dawn FM’s “Out of Time.” In July, The Weeknd will begin his summer tour in his hometown of Toronto.
It’s still unclear whether Diddy will release his next album anytime soon.
