Margot Robbie, the iconic Harley Quinn, might be sticking around for a while as rumors swirl about her potential role as Sue Storm in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.
According to an alleged leak, Robbie is set to take on the mantle of the Invisible Woman, joining a star-studded cast that includes Adam Driver as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Paul Mescal as Johnny Storm (the Human Torch), and Daveed Diggs as Ben Grimm (The Thing).
While the rumor mill continues to spin, Marvel remains tight-lipped about the Fantastic Four project, leaving fans in suspense. However, the studio did provide some morsels of information during last year’s D23 Expo, revealing the movie’s release date (November 8, 2024) and director (Matt Shakman).

Robbie would follow in the footsteps of Jessica Alba and Kate Mara, who previously portrayed Sue Storm in the earlier Fantastic Four films.

But here’s the burning question: If Robbie indeed joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe, could this mark her farewell to DC? After all, she currently embodies the role of Harley Quinn in the DC Extended Universe, enchanting audiences with her portrayal in three films. Hollywood has seen its fair share of actors hopping from one cinematic universe to another, with Ryan Reynolds juggling Green Lantern and Deadpool, and Ben Affleck transitioning from Daredevil to Batman (not simultaneously, of course). Even director James Gunn made the leap from Marvel to DC.

Being a part of two cinematic universes simultaneously is a rarity, but if anyone can make history, it’s Robbie (that is, if these rumors prove to be true).
