Moon World Resorts Inc., a Canadian architectural firm, may be launching a $5 billion moon-shaped destination resort in Dubai. The 735-foot-tall resort is anticipated to attract 2.5 million visitors per year and will be built in 48 months.
The Moon is expected to boost the Emirate’s economy through numerous sectors such as a wellness center, nightlife, space tourism, hospitality, technology, and more, all while being surrounded by what is expected to be a lunar surface. The 10-acre surface features a real “lunar colony” and is designed at anyone looking for a low-cost way to experience space tourism.
In addition to its attractions, the Moon will serve as a hub for space agencies and astronauts.
In addition, 300 private residential apartments known as “Sky Villas” will be available for purchase at the destination. The owners will also become members of the resort’s elite private club.
