While the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 is easily Kanye West‘s most popular silhouette, the adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 is without a doubt his most influential.
Since the release of the “Wave Runner,” brands across the sneaker industry have attempted to re-create their own dad shoes, and this trend has continued to this day. The chunky offering will expand its catalog with more colorways in 2022, one of which is this adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Hi-Res Red” that has just surfaced.
This is easily one of Kanye’s wildest 700 colorways that we have ever seen, based on the early images of the pair.
The solid black suede overlays, flashes of orange and teal on the midsoles, and reflective hits all come from the aforementioned “Wave Runner,” but the rest of the kicks are crafted with bold color-blocking that give it its own personality. The back panels and mid-foot sections are both painted in the same color, with brick-red accents on the laces and toe boxes.
