The use of earthy color combinations emerged as a common theme in the early years of Kanye West and collaborative product releases.
The adidas YZY KNIT RNNR “Faded Azure” that has just surfaced is a prime example of how the two have recently been catering to more garish colorways.
The gradient motif on the sneakers is the most alluring feature of the playful kicks, which are depicted in multiple angles in early leaks of the two-toned colorway. The sock-like collars are where its name-brand color is most noticeable, and the black font size notations on the lateral heels complete the look.
The upper also has more sporadic “Faded Azure” spots, but they are mixed in with the green to produce a gradient effect. Underneath all of that is a single unit that has been chiseled with ridges in the shape of chevrons; this unit is painted a solid shade of green.
There is no official release date at this time, but Ye and adidas are expected to release these in the near future for $200 USD.
