This year’s Chinese Lunar New Year falls in January, ushering in the year of the rabbit. Nike is creating a commemorative Nike Dunk High as part of its bigger auspicious releases, which are expected to appear early next year.
The next pairs have “Summit White” leather uppers with greyscale suede sections in clean and light tones. The “Desert Ore” Swooshes and “Evergreen” heel loops are made of hairy suede, while gold tones are scattered over the mountain artwork on the lateral heel and “多金山” (translating to “golden mountain”) writing on the glittery tongue tags. Crisp white midsoles and frosty translucent outsoles complete the design.
The Nike Dunk High “Lunar New Year” will be available for $135 USD from Nike and select stockists in January 2023.
