The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Mambacita Sweet 16” colorway, which was recently unveiled, is the first item on Nike Basketball’s agenda.

The sneakers are a fitting tribute to the Laker legend, as well as the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation and his late daughter Gigi Bryant. A gilded #2, which represents Gigi’s AAU uniform number, can be found inside the lateral windows.

The Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation insignia replaces the traditional Kobe signature on the back end’s heel molds, and underneath is Kobe’s moniker on the left shoe and Gigi’s on the right. With “Mambacita” spell outs, angel wings, a halo, and another #2 hit, the insoles pay tribute to Gigi even more.

The Swooshes, Mamba tongue logos, and leather back panels are all covered in stark black snake scales, with white accents on the Swooshes, Mamba tongue logos, and leather back panels.

Nike is expected to announce an official release date soon, and they will cost $180 USD. Additionally, the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation will receive 100% of the proceeds from this launch.
