Hamilton’s latest aviation model features a 40mm brushed stainless steel case with a classic black dial adorned with faux patina indexes, hands, and subdials by 3 and 9 o’clock, and is inspired by the timepieces issued to members of the Royal Air Force decades ago.

The chronograph function is controlled by the watchmaker’s exclusive H-51-Si mechanical hand-wound movement, which has a power reserve of 60 hours and is powered by two pushers on either side of the crown.

A domed sapphire crystal, a vegetable-tanned brown calf leather strap, and a water resistance of 100 meters round out the watch.

The new Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer Mechanical Chrono, priced at $2,045 USD, will be available soon on the watchmaker’s website.
