HEIMPLANET and 66°North’s Cave Tent is Armed Against All Icelandic Conditions

HEIMPLANET has announced a new relationship with 66°North, an Icelandic outerwear specialist. The cooperation revolves around HEIMPLANET’s iconic inflatable Cave Tent, which combines the label’s technical knowledge with 66°North’s tradition of producing long-lasting clothing.

With a sturdy geodesic dome construction and the use of waterproof and durable materials to defend against wind, snow, and rain, the tent has been built to manage all seasons in Iceland. The tent has been dressed in a bright orange color as a reference to safety shelters across Iceland, painted in that color to stand out against the terrain in this collaborative release. The inflatable tent can be set up in less than a minute and has an enlarged design that can accommodate three or four people.

Announcing the collaboration, HEIMPLANET co-founder Stefan Clauss said:

“Since the beginning, Iceland has always been our reference for heavy tent conditions Many people have told us that Iceland is the ultimate proving ground for the stability of a tent. Therefore Iceland and its harsh conditions have always been our benchmark. To now take all our experience to build a tent to match the demands of Iceland is a dream coming true.”
