From start to finish, the Air Jordan 1 Low has played a significant role in Jordan Brand‘s 2022 offerings. The classic sneaker has received a lot of attention thanks to new looks on the silhouette designed by the team and collaborative partners.
The high-top version of the shoe will be released this week in an orange-covered “Starfish.” As autumn approaches, another orange colorway of the Air Jordan 1 has emerged.
Orange meets black and off-white in a color scheme reminiscent of various “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1 editions. However, Jordan Brand has chosen to lean even more into the basketball vibes this time around, with orange leather overlays and Swooshes with a basketball-like texture.
To balance the orange on the rubber outsole, a black leather base is combined with black on the laces, tongue, and heel’s printed Wings logo. The look is then lightened by an off-white “Coconut Milk” midsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low “Sport Spice” release date has yet to be announced. The Swoosh is expected to release the pair in women’s sizing this fall for $120 USD via Nike and select retailers.
