‘Matrix 5’ Reportedly in the Works at Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. is doubling down on the Matrix franchise with the official announcement of a fifth film. However, there’s a twist: Lana or Lily Wachowski won’t be in the director’s chair this time around. Nevertheless, Lana Wachowski is set to serve as an executive producer for the project. Stepping into the directorial role is Drew Goddard, who will also be crafting the screenplay alongside Sarah Esberg.
