Nike is well-known for being a cultural tastemaker on a global scale. Recently, the sportswear behemoth has taken the moniker a step further by releasing a slew of food-inspired Dunk Low‘s, ranging from “Blue Raspberry” and “Green Apple” iterations to a shaggy-textured “Avocado” colorway.
Following suit, the Swoosh will release a “Banana” Dunk Low that is both playful and supremely rockable. The sneaker has a creamy coconut milk leather upper with a yellow swoosh and overlays that look like a peeled banana. A furry brown suede heel tab and a banana sticker graphic on the exterior and insole complete the look.
The Nike Dunk Low “Banana” does not yet have a release date, but the shoe will retail for $120 USD and will be available in the coming months.
